The author will talk about her new novel, The Mystique of the Last Cannoli, which digs into the mythology, music, humor and emotional inheritance of a sprawling Sicilian-American family. Comic and poignant, the novel reveals the emotional inheritance passed between generations, family loyalties, buried grief, reinvention, appetite and the stories we tell to survive.
